OUR WORK
Our programs now include:
1. Day Program for 25-30 children, which includes help with homework, clothing, a hot meal, crafts, music lessons, counseling and computer training by licensed staff.
2. Teen Assist is an exciting new program to support our teens who have graduated from the Potter’s House Day Program, until they integrate into society, get a job and a place to live.
3. Sponsor a Teenager has been started to support our teens in school, to provide their school supplies, and to provide counseling. Our prayer is to find a sponsor for each one, matching them with a family. Please pray for them, as many have trusted in the Lord. As part of this program, they are required to volunteer at the Potter's House one day a week.
4. Street Children Program, which includes taking meals to them on the street, sharing Jesus Christ, and working to reintegrate them into their families or an institution.
5. Assist a Family Program became necessary since children from the street were integrated into families. Potter's House provides material support and counseling to prevent the children from running away
6. Summer Camps for 7-10 days allows children to be in a Christian environment away from the city. Volunteers from many countries and churches play a vital role in the success of these camps.
7. Christmas and Easter Program, where the children perform a program that presents the real message of the season. These are important opportunities for volunteers to help the children give back to others and to share the Good News of the birth of the Savior and the resurrection of our Lord.
8. Medical Missions remain an evangelistic tool to the villages where we conduct free consultations and dispense medicine to the underserved people of Romania. Medical Missions are done monthly in different villages where people have no medical assistance and evangelism faces stiff resistance. Please pray for the protection of our Romanian and volunteer medical teams, as well as for resources to provide medication.
